About The Position

We are hiring for the IDD Assistant Director of Nursing position at RHA Health Services in La Grange, NC. The Assistant Director of Nursing will assist the Director of Nursing in providing oversight and direction in maintaining a system for developing, reviewing, approving, and disseminating standards of clinical practice. Additionally, this role involves reviewing and making recommendations on policy issues regarding clinical practice.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science program or RN.
• Graduate degrees in related areas preferred.
• Complete criminal background check.
• Name checked in the registries (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities).
• Drug testing.
• Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
• Proof of employment history or references (if required).
• Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, if required for providing transportation for individuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in providing oversight and direction in clinical practice.
• Develop, review, approve, and disseminate standards of clinical practice.
• Review and make recommendations on policy issues regarding clinical practice.
