About The Position

The Head Girls Lacrosse Coach at Lakeridge High School is responsible for providing a positive learning environment for athletes and teaching the necessary skills for successful performance in the sport. The coach will manage athlete behavior during training sessions, meets, and events, while also taking precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities. The role requires upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and School Board Policies. The coach is expected to attend all meets and events scheduled for the sport, serve as a positive role model for students, and participate in coaches' meetings. All coaching contracts are offered on a seasonal basis, and reapplication for coaching positions is required annually.

Requirements

• Experience with students and the sport/activity.
• Certification through the NFHS Coaches Certification Program (ASEP) is required before the start of the season.
• First Aid Certification, CPR/AED, Bloodborne Pathogen and Coaches Certification training are required.
