About The Position

Under the guidance of the Nurse Manager, this leadership role is your opportunity to influence the future of patient care. You'll oversee daily operations, support clinical excellence, and foster professional growth within your unit. From assessing and coordinating care to mentoring staff, you'll ensure high-quality, compassionate care is delivered across all stages of life. In this role, you will: Champion evidence-based practices to deliver meaningful and cost-effective healthcare. Guide, support, and inspire nursing staff through coaching and development. Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability. Align team performance with organizational goals to drive impactful results. Serve as a key resource and decision-maker in daily clinical operations. This is more than a supervisory role,it's a chance to lead by example and shape a dynamic, inclusive, and patient-centered environment. Hourly Pay Range: $41.56 - $61.30

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience relevant to the patient populations and/or scope of practice.
  • Must possess a current, valid AZ RN license, a temporary AZ RN license, or avalid compact RN licensure for the current state of practice.
  • Must be in good standing with the issuing Board of Nursing.
  • Requires a BLS card obtained through an American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.
  • Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
  • Requires effective communication skills.
  • The ability to work with culturally diverse people is a must.
  • ED-Maryvale: Must have ACLS and PALS upon hire or transfer.
  • ED-Maryvale: Must obtain ATCN or TNCC within twelve (12) months and ENPC within twelve (12) months.
  • ED-Maryvale: Must obtain National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within six (6) months of hire or transfer.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer a bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability is a plus.
  • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Pediatric Certified Emergency Nurse (PCEN), or Trauma Certified Emergency Nurse (TCRN) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills is preferred.
  • Bilingual is preferred.
