About The Position
A high-acuity medical center in the Hudson area is hiring a Registered Nurse to join its Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This is a full-time, night-shift role offering exposure to MICU, SICU, and CSU patient populations. Requirements
- Active Florida RN license (or compact with commitment to obtain FL license within 60 days)
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required (BSN preferred)
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in a hospital setting
- BLS (AHA) required upon hire
- ACLS (AHA) required within 6 months
- NIHSS required within 6 months
- Critical care experience in MICU, SICU, or Cardiovascular Surgical Unit preferred
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill patients
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders
- Instruct patients and families on medications and treatments
- Maintain and update patient records, including diagnostic results and care plans
