About The Position

The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in an acute care hospital setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to manage complex patient conditions, and collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Experience in a hospital of similar size and trauma level
• Willingness to float to Medical-Surgical units as required
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor vital signs and clinical status
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and operate critical care equipment
• Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
• Accurately document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and standards
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to Medical-Surgical units as needed based on staffing requirements
