As part of the health care team, practices Pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession, and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. This role will be in a medical surgical intensive care unit (ICU). The pharmacist will be responsible for participation in daily multidisciplinary rounds and collaborative practice with other providers. Previous ICU/Critical Care experience is required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Previous ICU/Critical Care experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.
• Experience in Retail Pharmacy practice.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience in ICU/Critical Care.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Nutrition support experience.
• PGY2 in Critical Care or equivalent ICU experience strongly preferred.
