Assigned Shift: Night Shift Standard Working Hours: 1845-0715 Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd weekend Holiday Responsibility: yes The Patient Care Assistant position is part of the ICU Department and is a full-time working approximately 72 hours per two-week pay period, The primary shift is 6:45 PM – 7:15 PM, with a schedule that may include a combination of 12- and 8-hour shifts. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Hospital and departmental experience preferred
  • Strong initiative, enthusiasm, and professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Customer service oriented and able to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care and perform non-professional services to meet the personal needs and comfort of patients
  • Use a systematic approach to assess patient needs and work collaboratively with nursing and ancillary staff
  • Adhere to all assigned standards and promote teamwork within the department
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support patient care and smooth ICU operations
