About The Position
The Staff Pad has partnered with a healthcare organization in Russellville, Alabama to hire compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). This is a great opportunity to join a patient-focused team dedicated to delivering high-quality care across all age groups. Position Overview The CNA supports nursing staff by providing direct patient care and assisting with daily living activities. This role is essential in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and overall well-being while maintaining a high standard of care.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required (or equivalent experience)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience preferred, but not required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Compassion for patient care
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to emergencies
- Commitment to maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, height, weight, and other patient data
- Support patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Assist with nutrition by serving meals and documenting intake
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN
- Collect and transport specimens following proper procedures
- Assist with patient positioning, ambulation, and comfort measures
- Respond promptly to patient needs and call lights
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages
