Job Title: Institutional Client Solutions (ICS) – North America Generalists, Associate Job Description: Blackstone’s Institutional Client Solutions “ICS” Generalist team is responsible for cultivating Blackstone’s enterprise-level relationships with our U.S. institutional client base. We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented, and passionate person to support Blackstone’s generalist ICS team with a primary focus on U.S. institutional clients. The Associate will have significant interface with senior members of ICS, investment professionals, the executive offices, and other groups around the firm. In this role, the Associate will partner with Senior Relationship Managers to help execute on client servicing, business development initiatives, and senior management reporting needs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience, preferably within investment banking, investor relations, or asset management
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Effectively multi-tasks and executes a wide range of assignments; successfully operates in ambiguity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce
  • Series 7, 79 and 63 licenses preferred (required within first year of employment)
  • Undergraduate degree is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support Fundraising Team and Senior Leadership: Prepare fundraising teams for meetings and client roadshows, liaise with product specialists across the firm to drive client follow-ups and deliverables, and assist with strategic projects.
  • Business Intelligence and Reporting: Track client allocations and priorities, competitor updates, and firmwide activity. Assist with quarterly reporting for senior leadership on ICS engagement initiatives and fundraising products. Leverage client insights to drive business development strategy.
  • Client and Product Knowledge: Develop expertise on the U.S. institutional client base priorities and allocations, as well as Blackstone’s platform and offerings across asset class
  • Partner with events teams on client engagement initiatives, conferences, and events
  • Collaborating on internal ICS initiatives across asset classes
  • Help improve internal processes and the overall client experience through project management and strategic support
