The Inventory Control Quality Assurance Supervisor, reporting to the Inventory Control Quality Assurance Manager, will assist in the development, implementation, and execution of all functions relating to Inventory Control. Will partner with the regional Inventory Manager and other department heads to assign counts, train employees, resolve discrepancies, and develop corrective actions when needed. This position works on-site at our Garland facility Monday through Friday, from 8am-5pm. The compensation range for this position is $65K-$70K/year, depending on experience. Your Day-to-Day: Maintain Inventory Control Boards, generate reports, and all other means of communicating cycle count results and inventory-related information to the facility. Responsible for ensuring all inventory-related training is completed and documented. Work directly with ICQA Manager and facility leadership to plan and execute customer-level physical inventories. Work with ICQA Manager and facility leadership to develop company cycle counting program including design and implementation of the program and any needed changes based on customer specifics. Analyze inventory trends to determine the drivers of inventory variances, initiate corrective actions, and collaborate with operations on implementation of those corrective actions and process changes. Maintain records for inventory accuracy trends, inventory reconciliations, and inventory audits. Conduct daily, weekly/monthly/ YTD reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). Provide technical guidance to personnel on inventory management system. Responsible for seeing that documentation in the form of procedures and work instructions are available and current for critical functions. Assist in training warehouse and Supervisory personal in required Inventory Control Procedures. Schedule planned inventory cycle counts and report on completion percentage, productivity, and results of counts Conduct ongoing operational audits against best practices and report results to facility leadership. Oversee the execution of quality audit program for facility and meet any customer-specific requirements. Develop action plans based on results of operational audits aimed at improving operational best practices and discipline. Conduct location spot audits outside of cycle count program. May have some customer-facing interactions. Enter non-conformities into Salesforce Work with facility to develop Corrective Actions when needed. Leading mini-game efforts both internal to the ICQA team and collaborating with operations on operationally based mini-games. Barrett PIV Certification is required within the first 30 days (or as dictated by facility need); certification must remain in good standing. Performs other duties as assigned.
