About The Position

The ICQA Supervisor will oversee and lead the Inventory Control Quality Assurance (ICQA) team, ensuring effective inventory management practices. This role involves conducting regular audits, implementing inventory control procedures, and collaborating with warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies. The supervisor will also monitor key performance indicators related to inventory accuracy and quality control, while fostering a culture of safety and compliance within the team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory control or related field.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with inventory management software preferred.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the ICQA team, providing direction, training, and support to ensure effective inventory management practices.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify stock levels, identify discrepancies, and ensure accuracy in inventory records.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory accuracy and quality control.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations, fostering a culture of safety within the ICQA team.
  • Assist in training and educating warehouse staff on inventory control practices and quality assurance standards.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement, providing recommendations to management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on inventory accuracy and team performance to management.
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Inventory Control Manager.
