Kraft Heinz in Cedar Rapids is looking for candidates that want to make great soups! Efficiently operate Iconotech printers in a safe and efficient manner. Print quality of boxes required for daily production. Machine Operator back up to the Wexxar / Pearson Machine and Tubpack.

Requirements

Must be detail-oriented and possess good organizational skills
Must ensure quality of products being packaged.
Must have basic knowledge in equipment care and maintenance.
Must be able to perform well under stress
Working conditions include extremes of hot and cold temperatures
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to work independently and with others.
Must be able to work in a safe manner.
Must ensure quality products are being packaged.
Responsible for following all Food Safety Policies and Safety Procedures.
Responsible for Q-RMP standards implementation as defined by the accountability list document

Responsibilities

Manually operate printer
Install new pads
Print and change stencil
Set up and run the machine
Clean carton printer, loading device, and machine
Lift cardboard boxes to/from stacking device
Blow out cardboard dust and clean spilled ink from inside and underneath Iconotech at the end of shift.
Remove Scrap cardboard to recycling compress on dock
Make the proper IQA and other entries as required
Trouble shoot and analyze as needed
Other duties as assigned
