The Inventory Control Specialist (ICS) is entrusted with the critical responsibility of maintaining precise accountability of inventory and inventory transactions. This role is fundamental to the organization's operational efficiency and financial integrity. The ICS is tasked with conducting rigorous daily cycle counts, meticulously investigating inventory variances, ensuring strict adherence to First In / First Out (FIFO) product rotation protocols, and executing timely replenishment of pick locations to support outbound warehouse operations. While the following responsibilities constitute the primary functions of this role, it is imperative that the ICS demonstrates versatility by cross-training in other business areas, providing assistance as required, and strictly adhering to standard operating procedures (SOP) in the execution of all tasks.
