U.S. Bank is seeking a dynamic and enterprise-minded ICG RFP Project Manager to lead the orchestration of high-impact RFPs (request for proposals from prospective clients) across Institutional Client Group (ICG). This role is designed for a strategic facilitator who thrives in complexity, drives clarity, and elevates execution standards. As a central integrator, you will reduce friction, streamline coordination, and ensure pricing and content alignment across diverse teams—ultimately accelerating our ability to win and retain business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling large-scale, cross-enterprise projects.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end RFP lifecycle, from initial intake through delivery and postmortem analysis.
  • Serve as the primary project manager responsible for getting RFPs out the door with precision and speed.
  • Coordinate across multiple LOBs (e.g., Treasury, Merchant, Card, Lending, Deposits, Marketing, Relationship Management, Risk, and Legal), ensuring alignment of pricing, messaging, and content.
  • Define and enforce service-level agreements, reporting cadences, and escalation protocols to maintain execution quality.
  • Lead the RFP postmortem process to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in both content and process.
  • Develop and maintain win/loss reporting frameworks that provide actionable insights into internal workflows, sales positioning, and pricing strategies.
  • Partner with stakeholders to refine RFP strategies based on performance data and market feedback.
  • Support the rollout and adoption of relationship-based pricing tools, including Precision Lender, profitability calculators, deal review committees, and strategic one-pagers.
  • Facilitate training and enablement sessions to help teams shift focus from product margins to total client profitability and return on equity.
  • Build collaborative relationships with ICG Relationship Managers, shifting accountability for RFP assembly to the Project Manager while empowering Relationship Managers to act as strategic advisors.
  • Liaise with Strategy, Business Development, and Sales Enablement teams to ensure alignment with broader enterprise goals.
  • Author and maintain project management artifacts including charters, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
  • Communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to senior management.
  • Ensure project governance is established and observed across all initiatives.
  • Assist on other projects as requested
