About The Position

Pathways, Inc. is seeking compassionate and hardworking individuals to join our team as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) in our intermediate care facility residences for aging adults with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will work in a small, homelike environment with 10-12 beds, ensuring a maximum staff-to-resident ratio of 1 to 4, typically 1 to 2. Your responsibilities will include assisting individuals with activities of daily living, personal hygiene care, range of motion exercises, repositioning, ambulation, dining assistance, and medication administration. You will collaborate with the Shift Supervisor, QIDP, Residence Manager, RN, and other members of the consumer's Service Planning Team to ensure appropriate services are provided. Requirements

• Completion of and graduation from a Certified Nursing Assistant's Certificate program with maintained licensure and training.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Verbal and written communication skills necessary for performing essential functions.
• At least one year of experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities or related field preferred.
• A valid driver's license with a driving record that meets insurability guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification preferred; non-certified applicants may be considered for Residence Counselor pay.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living including personal hygiene care, range of motion, repositioning, ambulation, and dining.
• Assist with behavioral needs and medication administration.
• Ensure the overall health and wellbeing of the individuals.
• Meet regularly with the Shift Supervisor, QIDP, Residence Manager, RN, and other members of the Service Planning Team to ensure appropriate services are provided.

Benefits

• $19.75-$22.25 per hour for ICF Certified Nursing Assistant, depending on experience.
• $2.00 per hour overnight shift differential.
• Sign-on bonus of $1,500 or $2,000 for full-time positions, $1,000 for part-time positions.
