About The Position

Pathways, Inc. is seeking compassionate and hardworking individuals to join our team as ICF Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) in our intermediate care facility residences for aging adults with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will work in a small, homelike environment with 10–12 beds, ensuring a maximum staff-to-resident ratio of 1 to 4, typically 1 to 2. Your responsibilities will include assisting residents with activities of daily living, personal hygiene care, medication administration, and overall health and wellbeing. You will collaborate with a team of professionals, including the Shift Supervisor, QIDP, Residence Manager, and RN, to provide appropriate services to our residents.

Requirements

  • Completion of and graduation from a Certified Nursing Assistant’s Certificate program.
  • Maintain adequate licensure and training for the Certified Nursing Assistant position.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Verbal and written communication skills necessary for the position.
  • At least one year of experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities or related field preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets insurability guidelines.

Nice To Haves

  • CNA certification preferred; non-certified applicants may be considered but will be subject to ICF Residence Counselor pay.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene care, range of motion, repositioning, ambulation, and dining.
  • Support residents with behavioral needs and medication administration.
  • Ensure the overall health and wellbeing of the individuals in care.
  • Meet regularly with the Shift Supervisor, QIDP, Residence Manager, and RN to discuss resident care and services.

Benefits

  • Pay range of $19.75–$22.25 per hour for CNAs, depending on experience, plus a $2.00 per hour overnight shift differential.
  • Sign-on bonus of $1,500 or $2,000 for full-time positions, and $1,000 for part-time positions, with additional bonuses every 3 months for one year.
