The Ice Cream Customer Strategy and Planning Manager (CSPM) at Unilever is responsible for representing the voice of the customer and shopper within the business unit. This role focuses on integrating customer insights into brand and category plans, particularly for the Klondike brand, and managing all Customer Strategy and Planning functions for the Out-Of-Home (OOH) channel. The CSPM will collaborate cross-functionally to drive business growth and ensure effective execution of strategies in alignment with retailer objectives.

  • Develop and deploy channel specific annual business plans to drive category development and competitive growth.
  • Interface strategically across the business, representing Customer Development interests in cross-functional interactions.
  • Articulate and develop strategies and plans, adapting brand strategies into actionable channel and customer strategies.
  • Lead and support brand projects to achieve revenue targets and manage trade investment budgets.
  • Collaborate with innovation, finance, and OOH teams to execute distribution changes and channel strategy.
  • Deploy holistic customer investment across customers to deliver profitable growth using tools like the PEA tool.
  • Evaluate trends and analyze promotions for effectiveness and business impact.
  • Drive consolidated Retailer inputs to the S&OP process for brand/category, including gap closure activities.
  • Provide thought leadership and feedback into the category building plan and SKU portfolio.
  • Encourage ownership to resolve issues proactively and leverage digital technologies for improved communication.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 4+ years of experience in consumer goods and sales/customer development.
  • Strong understanding of customer operations and channel drivers.
  • Focus on business outcomes and gap closure.
  • Ability to make decisions in ambiguous circumstances.
  • Holistic business thinking with evidence of addressing business challenges.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship building skills.

  • Experience in the ice cream or food industry.
