Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in Project Engineering with FMCG experience strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a project management role.
  • Professional engineering skills.
  • Project Delivery experience.
  • Experience managing project budgets.

Nice To Haves

  • Firsthand experience / track record of delivering major capital project in Ice cream category.

Responsibilities

  • Liaison with R&D, Marketing and Supply chain Manufacturing to propose a solution for Innovation project.
  • Identify the make/supply solutions to solve the problem.
  • Marketing together with R&D Design, identify the ambition for the consumer experience and how this will be delivered through product, process, and packaging design.
  • Follow Early Product Management methodology to forecast resources and Capex needed, and to determine how likely the project is to hit launch.
  • Provide an initial technical brief describing the problem and proposed solutions.
  • Develop project brief with R&D team.
  • Complete due diligence on the supply chain elements foreseen for the Validate Phase testing/launch plans (including transit trials where necessary).
  • Define testing plan to define any risk, and propose mitigation plan, e.g., pilot plant trials, factory trials, transport trials, etc.
  • Capex survey and approval (If new capabilities are required).
  • Assess the capabilities of the new assets for future fit.
  • Conduct Risk Assessment to the agreed CRQS/PQS (SHE and Quality).
  • Clear definition of recipe and process flow diagrams in PLM, including critical parameters & tolerances for materials, semi-finished goods and processes.
  • KPI's and KAI's (Success Index) consolidation & targets.
  • Waste targets in line with IC Innovation Waste Policy.
  • Launch Monitoring Plan - definition & formalisation of action standards for first months after launch.
  • Post project technical review.
