This position will be working 2nd shift from 6pm-6am. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 - 3 years related manufacturing experience/training preferred.
• Weekend and off-shift work is required.
• Ability to obtain Forklift Certification and Pallet Jack certifications.
• Man Lift certification and Pasteurization license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of ice cream including palletizing ice cream cartons, making mix, operating machinery and inspecting product to ensure quality.
• Become proficient in production, packaging, warehousing, and cleaning of ice cream make process and surrounding area.
• Meet physical demands of job, including lifting up to 20-35 lbs repetitively and 60 lbs occasionally, standing, and doing repetitive tasks safely.
• Understand and participate in all CIP and cleaning activities including hook-ups, foaming, controls, titrations.
• Keep production lines stocked with materials to make products, including ingredients and packaging material.
• Work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures, including freezer environments, refrigerated, hot, and ambient.
• Take guidance from Team Leads, Supervisors or any other members of Management Team.
• Work in a small team environment with limited resources at times.
• Become proficient in forklift and pallet jack operations.
• Complete tasks associated with the job using basic computer skills, including mandatory safety and food safety training.
• Understand the role of mix in the overall ice cream process.
• Work harmoniously with others.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance on-site.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Work 12-hour shifts with rotating nights off.
