About The Position
Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company – A leading materials testing and inspection firm - has an exciting opportunity for ICC-certified Reinforced Concrete (other certifications a plus) Special Inspectors in Phoenix, Arizona. ICC inspectors will play a critical role providing clients with detailed inspections of structures throughout the state of Arizona. Operators will be based in Phoenix, but will provide services throughout Arizona including Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, Prescott and Prescott Valley, Yuma and others. Requirements
- ICC certification for reinforced concrete, masonry and post tension.
- ACI field Certification
- High School or GED
- Safety Focused
- Fluency in construction plan reading
- Building Code knowledge
- Disciplined a self-motivated
- Strong communication skills
- Basic Computer Skills
Nice To Haves
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, construction management, or related field a bonus
- CWI Certification a bonus
Responsibilities
- Field inspections of various structures.
- Record keeping and report writing
- Communication with engineers, contractor, and managers
- Training apprentice inspectors
