About The Position
Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical & Environmental Consultants is seeking an ICC Special Inspector with multiple certifications to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This position is crucial for ensuring compliance with construction standards related to structural steel welding, bolting, concrete, masonry, and grading. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the relevant codes and standards, as well as the ability to read and interpret structural blueprints. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting field inspections of various construction materials and processes, including structural steel, bolting, welding, masonry, concrete, and soils. You will maintain accurate and complete records of field and laboratory data, including reports, letters, and Requests for Information (RFIs). Clear and effective communication with the Project Manager and client representatives is essential to ensure that all parties are informed and aligned throughout the inspection process. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety in construction. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a strong work ethic, organizational skills, and a positive attitude while working in a dynamic environment.
