The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of all inventory personnel and, when assigned, Workforce Development Job Training Program trainees working in inventory areas. This position oversees the receiving, storage, tracking, and issuing of all food and supply inventories—both purchased and donated—supporting Food Services and iCater enterprises. The Inventory Supervisor works closely with the Driver Supervisor, Executive Chef, and Sous Chefs and Operations leadership to ensure inventory accuracy, food safety compliance, and timely distribution to internal and external customers. This role is also responsible for maintaining the food and supply inventory database, conducting physical inventories, and generating daily, weekly, and ad hoc reports. Periodically, the Inventory Supervisor may be required to support Driver Supervisor functions, including driving to deliver or pick up food and supplies. Driving responsibilities involve interaction with iCater customers, Pine Street Inn programs, volunteers, and donors. Adherence to Pine Street Inn and Food Services standards and practices is essential.
