About The Position
The Instrumentation Controls Technician at Zeus Industrial Products is responsible for designing and troubleshooting machine controls utilizing PLCs, PCs, HMIs, motor drives, and other instrumentation and controls. This role is critical in ensuring the effective operation of various control systems and involves developing control, data collection, and signal processing systems. The technician will also troubleshoot existing PLCs, HMIs, motor drives, electronic circuits, electro-mechanical systems, PID controllers, and electronic sensors of all types. In addition to troubleshooting, the technician will ensure the satisfactory operation of new equipment and prepare operating and training manuals for maintenance staff. Training is a key component of this role, as the technician will be responsible for educating maintenance staff on servicing critical electronic components. The technician will also monitor and adjust equipment as necessary to validate product quality, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively.
