About The Position

The IC Clerk is responsible for accurate and efficient inventory control activities, ensuring the integrity of stock records and materials flow within Jabil's operations. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining organized inventory and supporting production needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
1-2 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a manufacturing environment, preferably with electronic components.
Proficiency in using inventory management systems or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and physical inventory tasks.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations quickly and accurately.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds occasionally and stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

Perform cycle counts and physical inventories of integrated circuits (ICs) and other electronic components.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including shortages, overages, and misidentified parts.
Process incoming and outgoing materials, verifying quantities, part numbers, and quality against documentation.
Accurately record inventory movements in the company's enterprise resource planning (ERP) system (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Maintain organized stock locations, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and accessibility of materials.
Prepare and generate various inventory reports for management review.
Collaborate with production, purchasing, and quality control departments to address material-related issues.
Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and efficiently, if required.
Adhere to all company safety procedures and quality standards.
Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement within inventory control.
