About The Position

The IC Clerk is responsible for accurate and efficient inventory control activities, ensuring the integrity of stock records and materials flow within Jabil's operations. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining organized inventory and supporting production needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a manufacturing environment, preferably with electronic components.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management systems or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and physical inventory tasks.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations quickly and accurately.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds occasionally and stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventories of integrated circuits (ICs) and other electronic components.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including shortages, overages, and misidentified parts.
  • Process incoming and outgoing materials, verifying quantities, part numbers, and quality against documentation.
  • Accurately record inventory movements in the company's enterprise resource planning (ERP) system (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Maintain organized stock locations, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and accessibility of materials.
  • Prepare and generate various inventory reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with production, purchasing, and quality control departments to address material-related issues.
  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and efficiently, if required.
  • Adhere to all company safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement within inventory control.
