About The Position
The position requires a strong working knowledge of IBM Rational Clear Case and Clear Quest, as well as experience administering these tools along with HP ALM, JIRA, AWS, and Gitlab. The candidate will be responsible for managing these tools in various environments, including applying packs and upgrades. A solid understanding of CC/CQ versions 8.0.1 and 9.2 and above is essential. The role also involves working with SQL Server DB and Oracle DB, identifying configuration items, auditing changes, and managing configurations throughout the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, upgrading, patching, backing up, and restoring ClearCase and ClearQuest, ensuring proper integration between these tools and other development tools, and resolving issues related to tool performance and user access. The candidate will also provide training to developers, document procedures for tool usage, monitor tool performance, and optimize it for efficiency. Additionally, the role requires identifying and automating manual tasks to improve efficiency and enhancing the user interface of ClearCase and ClearQuest to improve usability. Collaboration with global teams to coordinate implementation and support efforts is also a key aspect of this position.
