About The Position

As a Logic Design Lead at IBM, you will play a crucial role in the microarchitecture design and development of features for high-performance, secure systems. This position requires deep expertise in chip design and a commitment to innovation in the quantum and AI sectors. Requirements

• Masters in VLSI with demonstrated experience in microarchitecture and design of state-of-the-art processor features.
• Minimum 8 - 20+ years of experience in chip design and development.
• Understanding of CPU/GPU/RISC V architectures.
• Expertise in architecture and design of core units (Fetch, Decode, arithmetic units, L1/L2/L3 cache, Mem, IO).
• Experience with VLSI design in VHDL/Verilog.

Responsibilities

• Lead the microarchitecture design and development for Mainframe and/or POWER customers.
• Implement functional units within core/cache/memory controller/interrupt/crypto/PCIE/DLL.
• Conduct logic (RTL) design, timing closure, and CDC analysis.
• Design power-efficient logic and execute agile project planning.
