The position involves providing L3 support and handling Legacy CORBA framework Middleware Platforms. The candidate will be expected to have a deep understanding and hands-on experience working with Unix/Linux file structures, as well as an understanding of CORBA middleware with various distributed systems and enterprise applications. The role requires testing of CORBA middleware in both preproduction and production environments, and an awareness of Rogue Wave, Clear Case, Orbix, and integrated builds deployments. Additionally, the candidate should have working knowledge of message queuing in middleware and exposure to web services and Tomcat deployment. Experience in recycling major production systems and maintaining PIDs is also necessary. The candidate will work closely with middleware application teams to troubleshoot issues and build integrated builds in various environments. Experience with RedHat Linux is a plus, requiring admin skills and familiarity with Unix commands. Familiarity with Service Now for ticketing and change management is also beneficial.
