About The Position
Customer is seeking an experienced IBM Developer who will work in Hybrid mode at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities ⢠Technical Leadership & Design: Architect, design, and develop scalable mainframe solutions, leading code reviews and technical documentation. â⢠Development & Maintenance: Expert-level coding in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS â⢠System Performance & Support: Monitor system performance, optimize resources, manage batch jobs, and resolve complex production incidents. â⢠Project Delivery & Agile: Guide Agile teams, manage project scope/schedules, and liaise with stakeholders for requirements. â⢠Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior developers and ensure adherence to best practices.
Requirements
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of z/OS, COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, IMS, REXX, and debugging tools like Xpediter or File-Aid.
- Experience: 5-8 years of experience in mainframe development, including at least 1-2 years in a lead role.
