About The Position
The Equipment Mechanic - Food Service is responsible for performing skilled technical work at a journeyman level in the installation, operation, maintenance, modification, service, and repair of food service equipment. This includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing, conveyor, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The role involves diagnosing faults in refrigerant systems, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations regarding environmental protection and hazardous waste disposal.
