About The Position

RVP Consultants continues to provide opportunities for teachers from around the world to teach in the United States for up to 5 years under a cultural exchange program. We are currently building our pipeline for the upcoming school year. We are actively seeking qualified High School Mathematics Teachers to teach in the U.S. for the next school year 2026-2027. RVP will manage the full visa process to support selected candidates in obtaining authorization to teach in the United States. If you meet the qualifications below, we encourage you to apply. Position Overview The selected candidate will teach IB Mathematics (Grades 9-12) , including courses within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and IB Diploma Programme (DP) . Experience with IB is preferred; however, strong mathematics teachers without IB experience are encouraged to apply , as training will be provided.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of full-time teaching experience at the secondary level
  • Currently teaching Mathematics in a primary or secondary school
  • Meet qualifications to teach in your home country
  • Strong content knowledge in Mathematics (algebra, geometry, statistics, and related areas)
  • Experience with IB programs is preferred but not required
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, student-centered environment
  • Willingness to participate in school life beyond the classroom
  • Ability to pass an international background check
  • Commitment to participate in a cultural exchange program and return to your home country upon completion

  • Experience with IB programs is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and deliver high-quality Mathematics instruction aligned with IB standards
  • Teach courses such as: MYP Mathematics (Grades 9-10) IB Math: Applications & Interpretation (Standard Level)
  • Apply inquiry-based teaching practices aligned with IB philosophy
  • Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners
  • Collaborate with the Mathematics department on curriculum planning, assessment, and standardization
  • Regularly assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations
  • Integrate technology to enhance teaching and learning
  • Support student activities such as STEM clubs and broader school initiatives
  • Participate in professional development and remain current with best practices in education
  • Contribute to the school community through extracurricular involvement, including: Coaching one season of sports Supporting student life programming (including occasional weekend duties)
