About The Position

This role will be an ECM Associate Originator with focus covering the TMT sector. In this position, you will leverage off existing client relationships and lead the marketing, origination, and execution process for ECM opportunities. The role will involve interaction with several other groups throughout the Bank including ECM syndicate, research, coverage, sponsors, sales & trading, Debt Capital Markets, Lev Fin, and Mergers & Acquisitions as the team offers a full range of products to its client base.

Requirements

• Significant network and experience within the arena with extensive, product and market knowledge
• Proven track record of independently and proactively servicing multiple clients and effectively managing multiple priorities, while generating significant revenue
• Strong commercial acumen: understanding client/market problems, proactively tackling challenges, and seizing opportunities as they arise

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients focused on the delivery of advice on equity capital markets issuances and opportunities
• Create and deliver high value added financial analysis to targeted universe of clients and prospects
• Collaborate with other internal teams to cross-sell other products offered by the Bank
• Develop and cultivate strong client relationships; work collaboratively with other parts of the Bank to offer multiple products and solutions to clients
• Identify issues, gaps, and process improvements through open communication both internally and with other bank areas, and through the monitoring of productivity against benchmarks
• Ensure that bank policies and guidelines applicable to the division are complied with to ensure that risk is appropriately mitigated
