About The Position

To provide a range of applied behavior analytic (ABA) assessment and clinical services for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities.

Requirements

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
  • State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable), as required for regulated areas.
  • Three (3) years of experience providing ABA services to children.
  • Must be ambitious and self-motivated.
  • Must like and be comfortable with change.
  • Must be comfortable collaborating with attending physicians.
  • Must be well organized.
  • Must possess efficient time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of medical terminology.
  • Ability to respond quickly to varying demands from provider and patient.
  • Must be able to work well as part of a team.
  • Maintain professional boundaries.
  • Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and related skills.
  • Ability to be on feet/walking extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, push, and/or pull 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in relevant field of study.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct ABA therapy to children with Autism and other developmental disorders in the clinic, home, school, and community settings.
  • Provide parent, teacher, and staff training on the principles of ABA and behavior modification.
  • Provide training and supervision to Behavioral Technicians.
  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments/analyses.
  • Conduct verbal behavior/language assessments (VB-MAPP/ABLLS-R).
  • Develop individualized treatment plans (e.g., goals, objectives, and interventions) and monitor client progress towards goals.
  • Consult and collaborate with schools, daycares, medical professionals, and other pediatric disciplines.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and oversight of the ABA deportment (including ensuring compliance with insurance requirements for session notes, treatment plans, supervision, treatment authorizations, RBT requirements, etc.).
  • Participate in Continuous quality improvement efforts
  • Consult on and supervise internal and external research projects as directed by BCBA Supervisor
