About The Position
Position: Duct Cleaning Technician Reports to: Service Manager Job Responsibilities •Cleans and sanitizes Air Ducts & Dryer Vents in the customers home as directed by work order •Evaluates work areas air quality and sells appropriate products (furnace filters, etc) for overall improvement of indoor quality air •Plans the workday and determines the optimal travel route to schedule appointments •Surveys and discusses in detail with the customer any services to be completed •Explains and sells as many additional services as the member may desire, if applicable •Ensures that all pre-assigned jobs are successfully completed •Completes and reviews invoices with the customer and secures payment for service •Returns all equipment to the truck and secures it for trip to next assigned appointment •Telephones the office to alert them of time of arrival •Completes all paperwork upon returning to the office, and turns in all invoices, payments and charges to designated person •Performs other duties as assigned Work Hours This is a non-exempt position. Work hours to be determined. Overtime may occasionally be required based on the needs of the business. Requirements
- Requires a valid driver’s license
- Requires a high school diploma and/or equivalent
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards in stressful situations
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Hard working, self-starter with a positive attitude and respectful
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and decision making
- Willing to travel within the following counties King, Snohomish, Pierce, Thurston, Kitsap, Mason, Jefferson, Island (travel may occur within other counties)
