About The Position

IAM Role Engineer Process Lead will work with customers to design and build Enterprise Roles which bundle access from various sources including Active Directory, Azure AD, SAP, and many other SaaS applications. As process lead, they will also be responsible for developing and maintaining role governance processes, provide guidance to other role engineers, and have stewardship over the overall role management process.

Requirements

  • Experience conducting business interviews, documenting business processes, and utilizing that information to design relevant business roles
  • Hands-on experience building roles in SailPoint IdentityNow
  • Experience interfacing with business management
  • B.S. or equivalent work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of Active Directory technology including Accounts, Groups, and LAN folder/shares
  • Basic understanding of servers and databases
  • Windows command prompt, bash scripts and PowerShell knowledge
  • Basic understanding of JSON and NoSQL queries
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization concerns in large organizations
  • Service Now ticketing tool knowledge
  • Agile Process understanding

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and help revise business requests into the correct fine-grained authorization required to keep the security of the application but also provide the access required for the customer who will need to perform their job in a timely way
  • Perform liaison communications between entitlement owners, enterprise role owners and end users so that all three can understand the company processes and security controls as well as the impacts to each person's set of responsibilities
  • Influencing business leaders to adopt process changes and new role standards
  • Partner with audit team and provide documentation of all security controls when requested
  • SailPoint IdentityNow functionality - lifecycle events (joiner, mover, leaver), certification, role management, approval workflows
  • Enterprise Role Management including creation, modification and deletion as well as approval workgroup creation, modification and deletion
  • Good experience on customer handling via email, ticket, chat
  • Investigating application issues and documenting error/bugs to development team for any corrective action
