About The Position

Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the Identify and Access Management (IAM) program. Executes technical, project, support, analysis, and documentation activities of the IAM program as directed by the IAM lead. Provides input to the IAM lead from direct experience to enable continuous improvement of the IAM program in accordance with business needs of the company. Executes technical, project, support, analysis, and documentation activities of the IAM program. Work with information security and business stakeholders to review, design and/or implement products and services to provide a strong identity and access management that balances access with compliance and confidentiality, and is consistent with management direction. Maintain documentation for IAM processes, architecture, and controls. Support alignment of IAM processes across the organization. Assist Engineers, Developers, and Support Technicians with the IAM processes of their job duties. Provide input and feedback to the IAM lead on the status of active projects, research for purchasing decisions, and areas needing attention within assigned responsibilities. Attend project meetings to represent and inject security requirements and communicate project status to security team leadership. Build relationships with IT and business staff, understand business processes, exemplify security best practices, and stay abreast of new developments in cyber security, especially within IAM. Understand business and information technology management processes and demonstrate understanding of business processes, IT controls and related standards. Complete other projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must possess strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
  • Independently manages medium to large projects well.
  • Effectively interface with external contacts, Brotherhood employees, managers, and department staff members.
  • Associate’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology or related field is required.
  • Three or more years of experience working in the information technology field, including: 1+ years in developing, implementing, and architecting information systems, or 1+ years technical architecture experience integrating identity management and access management into infrastructure and applications is required.
  • Mid-level understanding of web security standards, architecture, web security best practices and application security best practices.
  • Mid-level understanding of IAM concepts, including federation, authentication, authorization, access controls, access control attacks, identity and access provisioning life cycle.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps/DevSecOps practices and methodology is desired, including TDD, CI/CD pipeline, IaC, and SaC.
  • Experience with administrating authentication technologies, such as Microsoft Active Directory/Windows authentication, Kerberos, OpenID Connect, OAuth, and federated identity management desired.
  • Certification in AWS, Azure Cloud or Google Cloud is desired.
  • IAM-related certification is desired.
  • Insurance background is desired.
