About The Position

Emerging Tech is seeking an IAM Activity Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. This role will coordinate Identity and Access Management (IAM) activities across VA, DoD, and Cerner to ensure the successful delivery of IAM capabilities in support of the joint Electronic Health Record (EHR). The IAM Activity Manager will manage ODCIO IAM activities related to site deployment, training, and ongoing operational requirements, while also supporting documentation, reporting, action tracking, and meeting facilitation. This role requires strong IT project management experience, the ability to work across technical and functional teams, and experience supporting large-scale, complex federal initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional work experience.
  • Experience managing Information Technology–related projects.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle and project management methodologies.
  • Experience tracking cost, schedule, and performance progress.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related scientific/technical discipline.
  • An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with technical and functional teams from VA, DoD, and Cerner to ensure successful delivery of IAM capabilities supporting the joint EHR.
  • Manage ODCIO IAM activities associated with site deployments, training, and ongoing operational requirements.
  • Provide support for EHRM-IO documentation needs and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain stewardship of action items and decision tracking to ensure accountability and follow-through.
  • Support meeting facilitation, including agenda preparation, documentation, and follow-up actions.
  • Track project costs, schedules, performance metrics, and overall progress.
  • Identify risks and issues and support mitigation planning and resolution.
  • Apply project lifecycle and project management methodologies to support program execution.
