About The Position

Cathodic Protection – Integrity Pipeline Project Manager / Engineer This is a remote-field role and can be located anywhere with a preference to Houston, TX or Denver, CO areas. Previous Pipeline Integrity experience is required. This is not a Software Engineering role. Position Summary: As a CP Project Manager, you will work with a safety-first team to c lead integrity projects, support cathodic protection initiatives, and contribute to the continued modernization of engineering workflows. Successful candidates will manage integrity digs, develop remediation strategies, and support the CP design and estimates.

Requirements

  • Pipeline integrity expertise is required.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Develop scope of work and cost estimates
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Confidence to STOP work immediately when a problem is identified.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Corrosion, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 3-7 years’ experience in pipeline integrity managing or supporting digs.
  • Exposure to Cathodic Protection.
  • Working knowledge of PHMSA regulations.
  • Experience in preparing cost estimates.
  • Current Driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically, often on short notice, and for extended periods of time.
  • Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
  • Must be able to travel up to 80% of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of cathodic protection installation and maintenance, preferred.
  • AMPP/NACE CP certification or in progress, desired.

Responsibilities

  • Manage integrity excavation and CP installation projects to include building and tracking schedules and working within project budget.
  • Prepare technical reports and client deliverables while coordinating with field crews and subcontractors.
  • Develop dig packages and repair scopes.
  • Use data integration and survey interpretation to identify and support anomaly prioritization.
  • Assess corrosion risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Support ECDA, ICDA, and SCCDA programs.
  • Actively participates in JSA and uses all necessary steps to complete tasks safely and ensures the safety of others working in the area.
  • Communicates with all levels of management and crew to effectively present any needs and changes.
  • All other duties as assigned.
