About The Position
The IACUC Manager serves as the program manager for the regulatory and compliance component of UTHSC’s Animal Care and Use Program (“The Program”)—specifically the Institutional Animal Care & Use Committee (IACUC). “The Program” encompasses both the Laboratory Animal Care Unit (LACU) and the IACUC. This position is responsible for oversight and ongoing evaluation of the entire Animal Care and Use Program, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, institutional policies, and accreditation standards.
