The I2M Excellence Process/Tools Manager role is pivotal in supporting the Research and Development (R&D) department at Philips, particularly in the deployment of innovation processes and ensuring compliance with established standards. This position involves the development and continuous updating of procedures, as well as the training, coaching, and assessment of project execution results related to these procedures, tools, records, and process audits. A significant focus of this role is on software projects that utilize agile methodologies and software tools designed to enhance the design and development processes. As the company consolidates its sites, this role will initially be based at the Bakery Square office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a planned relocation to another site in the greater Pittsburgh area by the end of the year. This strategic move aims to bring teams in western Pennsylvania closer together, thereby enhancing competitiveness and commitment to customers, clinicians, and patients, while also creating sustainable value. In this role, you will be expected to understand medical device regulations, design controls, and software methods, including Agile. You will develop plans to deploy tools and procedures that evolve based on project results and findings from Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and audits. Your responsibilities will include writing, editing, and simplifying procedures to ensure clarity, compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and corporate policies. Additionally, you will train and coach teams and individuals to effectively execute these procedures, identify areas for tool and automation application, and observe project execution results to suggest improvements in processes and tools.
