The position requires a skilled individual with extensive experience in field operations within the oil and gas industry. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, performing maintenance and project tasks, and managing multiple projects effectively. The role involves hands-on work with instrumentation and control systems, requiring a strong understanding of technical documentation and safety standards.

  • Ensure compliance with the site cardinal safety rules and with all safety aspects in the execution of work.
  • Complete field level risk assessments.
  • Safely perform calibration checks of field instrumentation.
  • Conduct stroke tests of pneumatic, hydraulic, and motor-operated valves.
  • Perform loop-checks and troubleshooting (I/O checking and troubleshooting).
  • Wire fiber optic panels against IFC drawings and red-line/as-build as required.
  • Conduct cause and effect matrix checks.
  • Verify interlocks, alarms, and controls performance.
  • Inspect installations against design documentation.
  • Complete approved commissioning check sheets.
  • Use calibration and testing instruments to inspect, test, and perform troubleshooting and diagnose faults.
  • Communicate design discrepancies and design issues.
  • Adhere to standards of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) and comply with the Clients Company Health, Safety & Environment Management (HSEM) System requirements.
  • Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • 3+ years of field operations experience in the oil/gas industry.
  • I&E maintenance and project experience.
  • Able to read P&IDs, ISOs, Plot Plans, etc.
  • Extensive working knowledge of field operations and construction operations.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Access, Excel, etc.
  • SCADA & PLC knowledge/experience preferred.
  • Ability/willingness to travel 10% of the time.
