About The Position

I/E Technician Dover Plant Key Duties & Responsibilities • Installation & Maintenance: Mount, wire, and install electrical and instrumentation components, such as process control systems, control panels, motors, and lighting. • Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve issues with electrical circuits, control systems (PLCs, DCS), and various instruments to minimize downtime. • Calibration: Calibrate and maintain analog and digital instruments, including pressure transmitters, flow meters, and temperature sensors, to ensure accuracy and reliability. • System Monitoring: Monitor the operational health of electrical and instrumentation systems and perform regular maintenance checks. • Documentation: Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and calibration records. • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, including LOTO (lockout/tagout) procedures, and ensure compliance with safety standards and guidelines. • Collaboration: Work with Operations Team to understand and implement system improvements and resolve complex problems.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with tools, diagnostic equipment, and various electrical and instrumentation components.
  • Documentation Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), schematics, ladder logic, and other Operations documentation.
  • Troubleshooting: Strong ability to identify and troubleshoot issues with electrical, electronic, and electromechanical systems.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant software for programming, data logging, and maintenance management systems.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data, conduct failure analysis, and develop solutions to system issues.
  • Communication Skills: Clear communication to convey problems to team members.
