About The Position

Clean Harbors Deer Park is searching for a licensed, reliable and safety oriented I&E Technician to join our Deer Park, TX incineration team! The Electrical and Instrumentation Technician will be responsible for performing hands-on instrument checks & calibrations, troubleshooting, maintenance & repair of motor circuits and control devices using PLC Ladder Logic and test equipment, along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks as needed. This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Pay, schedule, and testing requirements are governed by the union contract.

Requirements

A minimum of TDLR Journeyman Electrician's License, NCCER Industrial Electrician, Military Equivalent Experience, or a higher license. For this specific site location, we do not accept “TDLR Electrical Apprentice” or “NCCER Instrumentation Technician”. All credentials will be verified prior to moving forward with the interviewing process. If you do not have the approved credentials, your application will be removed from consideration.
Rotating shift schedule consisting of 4 days on / 4 days off (on-call), followed by 4 nights on, 4 days off (off-call). This role supports a 24/7/365 operations, which includes weekends and federal holidays.
