The position involves performing daily assignments of an instrument, mechanical, or electrical nature, as well as special assignments as required by the Maintenance Supervisors or Maintenance Manager. The role includes training in the Instrument, Mechanical, and Electrical areas to become fully proficient in troubleshooting problems and performing repair work. Responsibilities also include maintaining good housekeeping practices, using the SAP maintenance management program, and operating company mobile equipment such as forklifts and trucks. The position requires performing various tasks including replacing electric motors, performing instrumentation tasks, calibrating field instruments, welding, fabrication, and using specialty hand and shop tools. Compliance with plant rules, safety requirements, and ISO and FSSC standards is essential. The role also involves troubleshooting PLC systems, electrical problems, and communicating with maintenance supervisors and other personnel regarding daily assignments.
