About The Position

I&E Supervisor Summary of Position: The I&E Supervisor provides leadership and oversight for field instrumentation and electrical operations across one of our Delaware Basin assets as assigned. This role ensures safe, reliable, and compliant operation of instrumentation, control, and electrical systems while supervising field technicians and contractors. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: The following represents most of the position's duties but is not meant to be all-inclusive or prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary. Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory, environmental, and safety rules and standards, as well as corporate policies. As an I&E Supervisor, your responsibilities will include: Provide field leadership for the I&E team in installing, repairing, and maintaining company equipment. Lead daily meetings and scheduling of activities with team members and contractors Oversee and execute preventive maintenance programs to ensure high equipment uptime and PM schedule compliance. Maintain proper documentation and timely execution of purchase orders, invoice approvals, email responses, meeting invites and employee performance reviews Prepare work scope documents, budgets, specifications, and schedules Assist in the design, engineering, and procurement of instrumentation, control, and electrical system components. Coordinate and oversee maintenance duties required to maintain operations and regulatory compliance with hands on support as needed. Maintain effective and responsive communication with others, including facility operations and supervision, engineering, administrative, and supply chain Accountable for personal and team safety and actively promote a safe work environment. Assist in the development of the team through coaching and training. Analyze problems quickly and accurately to implement effective courses of corrective action. Ensure job duties are carried out with due regard for the environment, and in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations. Ensure accurate, timely data is entered and recorded within computer-based preventative and predictive maintenance programs, drawings, and schematics Stay abreast of changing technology through training opportunities, contacting suppliers/representatives of equipment manufacturers, and networking with others in the field. Maintaining good housekeeping practices.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record is required.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • 8+ years of experience/training in applicable instrumentation, control, and electrical systems, technical degree or license is a plus.
  • Instrumentation: pressure, level, flow, 4-20 mA signals, Modbus, switches
  • Control: PLCs, PID loop tuning, RTUs, and IPCs
  • Electrical: power distribution, VFDs, motors, transformers
  • 5+ years of supervision
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills with VFDs, transmitters, RTUs, and PLCs.
  • Experience using computers and a basic knowledge of Word and Excel are required.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical and electronic principles and associated safety requirements.
  • Demonstrate advanced organizational skills.
  • Be able to apply common-sense understanding to daily tasks and/or issues.
  • Work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Must be able to relate to other people and maintain good relationships with coworkers and peers.
  • Demonstrate openness to feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Must live within 65-mile radius of Pecos TX or stay within that radius during working shift.
