Our IDD nurses assist individuals with developmental disabilities in our Community Residence program, as well as in our Day Habilitation program. Our Community Residence program provides a warm and caring home to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, many of whom also have behavioral or medical complexities. Our Day Habilitation program provides adults with access to clinical and nursing supports while they are engaged in a learning environment that takes place at site based and community settings utilizing the arts, computers, and volunteering aimed at the development of greater independent living skills. The nurses that work within these program offer care to individuals with varying levels of need at multiple locations throughout the week. This position requires that applicants be enrolled in a degree program that will grant them credit hours for their internship. Applicants must also be an associate level nursing student.
