We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IAM Engineer to join our IT team and play a crucial role in ensuring the security and accessibility of our organization's digital assets. The Identity Engineer will be responsible for managing and enhancing our identity management systems, providing seamless and secure access to resources for employees, customers, and partners. Responsible for the planning, design and build of security architectures; oversees the implementation of network and computer security and ensures compliance with corporate security policies and procedures. Career Level - IC3 Responsible for basic planning, design and build of security systems, applications, environments and architectures; oversees the implementation of security systems, applications, environments and architectures and ensures compliance with information security standards and corporate security policies and procedures. Design and implement robust identity management solutions, including single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and identity governance. Manage and maintain the IAM infrastructure, including directories, identity providers, and access management tools. Onboard and offboard users, ensuring timely and accurate access provisioning and deprovisioning across various systems. Develop and enforce IAM policies, standards, and procedures to maintain a secure access control framework. Monitor and analyze access logs, identify potential security risks, and implement measures to mitigate them. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate IAM solutions with existing systems, including cloud-based applications and on-premises infrastructure. Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and security standards related to identity and access management. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IAM-related issues and ensure smooth user experience. Conduct regular audits and access reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IAM processes, architectures, and user guidelines. Recommend and implement new security controls across Oracle's line of business (LOB). Improve current processes and workflows to minimize manual efforts. Key Technology Areas: Proficiency in IAM tools and platforms such as Okta, Microsoft Azure AD, OneLogin, OCI IAM or similar identity management solutions. Strong understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect), federation, and API security. Experience with implementing and managing MFA solutions such as Duo Security, RSA SecurID, Oracle Mobile Authenticator (OMA) or similar identity management solutions. Knowledge of directory services (LDAP, Active Directory, Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) directory) and identity lifecycle management. Familiarity with cloud security and IAM integration with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). Scripting and programming skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation and customization of IAM processes. Understanding of security principles, encryption, and key management. Experience with identity analytics and access management reporting tools is a plus. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in Information Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), or IT Infrastructure. 3-5+ years of experience in identity and access management or related security engineering roles with a preferred 5-7 years. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail. Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+) are advantageous. Must be able to pass a U.S. Federal background check.
