About The Position

This position is responsible for providing I&C support for the safe, cost-effective, and reliable operation of Comanche Peak Nuclear Station. Other duties may be assigned. Directly or through others, the incumbent will: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to support plant operation. Maintain an environment conducive to nuclear and personnel safety. Ensure adherence to regulation, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum two year Technical degree or three years equivalent work experience
• Good technical writing skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Professional work ethic
• Able to apply knowledge to new situations.
• Has confidence in their ability to make the right decisions, to tackle larger problems, and to handle failures.
• Strives to improve maintenance and modification processes
• Knowledgeable of specific area of responsibility and appropriate plant processes
• Occasional long, irregular hours.
• Use of a PC, computer terminal and/or telephone
