Reporting to the Distribution Manager, the I & C Technician is responsible for supporting all electrical equipment and systems at the Pittsburgh Energy Center and customer locations. They will demonstrate hands-on and practical experience in the areas of repairs, replacement, maintenance, trouble shooting, calibration, design and installation for electrical, pneumatic systems. They will ensure plant and customer electrical equipment is serviced, maintained and repaired as recommended by the Original Equipment Manufacturer's maintenance manuals. Electrical equipment is inclusive of boilers, chillers, steam turbines, VFDs, HVAC, UPS, switchgear, starters, and meters. The I & C Technician works daylight shift and overtime as required by the demands of the job and is paid according to the current Union (International Union of Operating Engineers Affiliated with the AFL-CIO Local No.9595A) contract.
