About The Position

The I&C Integration Leader will be expected to define and execute Requirements Management, Design Change Control, Design Baseline and Configuration Management strategy to support robust execution and delivery on time of the I&C project. Work closely with I&C engineering and operations, licensing, project management, and quality teams to ensure that Design Baseline aligns with approved project stage and that all design changes are rigorously evaluated, documented, and authorized.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Minimum of 6 years related experience, included is a minimum of 2 years of project-related experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Advanced business and/or technical expertise in a related technical or professional capacity.
  • Knowledge of project-related processes.
  • Good communication skills to work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers.
  • Good problem identification and problem resolution skills with emphasis on 'root cause' analysis.
  • Excellent report development and presentation skills.
  • Advanced knowledge related to engineering functions, requirements management, configuration control, techniques and criteria.
  • Working experience with NQA-1 and 10 CFR 50 App. B. Knowledge of IEEE 603, IEEE1012, IEEE7-4.3.2 and IEC 62566.
  • Grows developed network and maintains good interpersonal relationships; works collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Requirements Governance & Framework Development
  • Develop and maintain the project’s requirements management strategy, processes, and tools.
  • Requirements Decomposition, Analysis & Validation
  • Lead the capture and decomposition of requirements from but not limited to:
  • Regulatory commitments
  • Licensing basis documents
  • Safety analyses
  • Customer specifications
  • Engineering standards
  • Facilitate requirement reviews to ensure clarity, feasibility, and testability of the Design Requirements
  • Coordinate validation activities to confirm that requirements accurately reflect stakeholder needs.
  • Requirements Traceability & Configuration Control
  • Maintain end‑to‑end traceability from high‑level regulatory requirements to design outputs, test cases, and operational documentation.
  • Ensure requirements are integrated with configuration management and baseline control processes.
  • Support audits, inspections, and licensing submittals with complete, accurate traceability records.
  • Requirements Management Tools & Data Integrity
  • Administer requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Jama, Polarion, or equivalent).
  • Ensure data integrity, version control, and secure access to requirements repositories.
  • Develop dashboards and metrics to monitor requirement maturity and compliance.
  • Baseline Development & Governance
  • Establish design baseline control processes aligned with:
  • NQA‑1
  • 10 CFR 50 Appendix B
  • Ensure baselines reflect approved design inputs, regulatory commitments, and licensing assumptions.
  • Design Change Control & Configuration Integrity
  • Lead the Project Change Control Board (CCB), ensuring all proposed changes are evaluated for technical, regulatory, cost, and schedule impacts.
  • Maintain full traceability between baseline documents, design changes, regulatory submittals, and implementation plans.
  • Ensure that baseline changes follow nuclear‑grade documentation, review, and approval workflows.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and define Configuration Management to ensure design changes are accurately reflected in project baselines.
  • Schedule & Cost Integration
  • Collaborate with Project Controls to ensure schedule and cost baselines are synchronized with technical scope.
  • Monitor performance against baselines and identify deviations requiring corrective action.
  • Risk & Impact Assessment
  • Evaluate the impact of proposed changes on safety, licensing, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
  • Work with risk management teams to ensure baseline changes are reflected in project risk registers and mitigation plans.
  • Configuration Management
  • Oversee configuration management processes for I&C digital systems
  • Ensure that all software, firmware, HDL code, toolchains, and supporting artifacts meet the stringent regulatory, quality, and traceability requirements mandated by nuclear standards.

  • Finance
  • Negotiates budgets and monitors expenses in order to meet the economic requirements of the customer.
  • Provides project leadership for well-defined, single product line commercial projects.
  • Prepares project plans/schedules/materials to achieve project quality, reliability, cost and timing objectives.
  • Utilizes approved project management methods and processes to execute low risk projects of existing technology and methods to meet client needs and expectations.
  • Provides primary interface between project team, management and client.
  • Coordinates multiple project activities including organizing and directing personnel, materials and equipment; utilizes team building skills to ensure satisfactory project performance.
  • Defines and forecasts needed skills to meet project objectives.
  • Manages the timely issuance and payment of customer invoices.
  • Expected to achieve and continue to maintain Framatome PM Certification.
