About The Position

Pecheles Automotive is growing in Greenville and is currently seeking an experienced Service Advisor/Assistant Service Manager to support our busy Hyundai Service Department. This position will work closely with the Service Manager while assisting Service Advisors in delivering a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have prior automotive experience , strong customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced service environment. Candidates should be comfortable working directly with customers, handling multiple priorities, and contributing to a team-oriented atmosphere. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role. Our Service Center operates Monday through Friday , with hours until 5:30 PM , providing a consistent weekday schedule. Requirements

  • Organized and friendly personality
  • Demonstrated ability to manage others
  • Time management skills, including a commitment to attendance and punctuality.
  • Fantastic communication skills.
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
  • Manufacturer Training (ability to complete upon hire).
  • Valid Driver's License; Clean driving record.
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Works with customers and technicians to identify required maintenance.
  • Advises customers on necessary and recommended services.
  • Offers additional services and repairs to customers.
  • Computes cost of replacement parts and labor to restore vehicle to condition specified by customer.
  • Estimates cost of mechanical, electrical, or other repairs.
  • Enters itemized estimate on service order and explains estimate to customer.
  • Schedules appointments with customers.
  • Meets dealership’s standards for repair and order production.
  • Maintains CSI at or above Company standards.
  • Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
  • Participates in required training.
  • Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
  • Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values
  • Complies with Company policies and procedures.
  • Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.
